Marat Terterov, founder of the Brussels Energy Club and head of the European Geopolitical Forum, commented to Dunyo News Agency on the outcomes of the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the United Arab Emirates and his participation in events held in Abu Dhabi and Dubai:
- On behalf of the Brussels Energy Club, let me congratulate the leadership of Uzbekistan on a very important official visit to the UAE and successful participation in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week summit.
In my view, the President of Uzbekistan delivered two very significant messages to the summit participants.
First, the New Uzbekistan is open to the international community for constructive economic and social cooperation aimed at sustainable development. The summit gathered more than 30,000 participants from various continents and countries. I am very pleased to see how successfully and effectively the President of Uzbekistan is engaging the international community with the country.
Second, the visit to the UAE highlights how Uzbekistan is transforming into a modern democratic state that is rapidly growing and developing while establishing very constructive and expansive relations with the Arab world.
I would like to congratulate Uzbekistan on this successful visit and wish the people of Uzbekistan continued success, prosperity, and well-being.
